Scape Mile End is made up of two wings. The east wing includes the 24/7 reception and communal areas like the gym, cinema, games area and study spaces.The west wing includes only rooms for more independent living.

All rooms can be found on the first to ninth floor. The higher up you live in the building, the better the city-wide views. All rooms are accessible via lifts or stairs so it's easy to get around.

That's right. At Scape Mile End, all utilities and bills are covered in your weekly rent. This includes water, electricity, heating, gym membership and superfast Wi-Fi. This amount is fixed in your rent, so even if energy bills go up, the amount you pay stays the same.

If there’s no current availability, you can join our waiting list. If a student cancels their booking and a room becomes available, we’ll reach out to everyone on the list, and rooms will be booked on a first-come first-served basis.  

Great news, you don’t need a guarantor to stay at Scape Mile End. Booking a room is a breeze. As long as you’re over the age of 18 when you move in, you can secure your spot without any extra paperwork or fuss. It’s just another way we take the hassle out of moving.  

All our rooms in Scape Mile End come with a comfy double bed, giving you ample space to stretch out and unwind after a busy day at university. You just need to bring your own pillow and bedding. There’s large under-bed storage, spacious wardrobes and drawers for all your belongings.  

Kitchens are fully equipped with a microwave, hob and fridge-freezer for easy meal prep. If you need anything else, Scape has partnered with Unpacked so you can pre-order kitchen, bedding and cleaning essentials to be delivered straight to your room on move-in day. 

The bedroom windows in Scape Mile End are double glazed to limit noise. We use advanced air circulation systems to maintain an ambient temperature in rooms, but if you need to cool down in summer there's air conditioning in the gym and communal spaces. 

Our rooms in Mile End are designed with thoughtful details. Along with a fully furnished space, you'll enjoy an ensuite bathroom, waterfall shower and heated towel rails. Rooms have large windows to let in natural light, ideal for early morning study sessions or lazy Sunday lie-ins, along with a study desk and chair to get on with your coursework.

You'll also have access to our communal areas, including a 24/7 gym, cinema, games area and study spaces. Feel free to use our laundry room at a small fee. If it’s your first year, the best time to book your room is when you’re applying for university. If you don’t meet your grade requirements (or you exceed them and decide to study somewhere else) you can cancel your booking free of charge until August 2025 (T&Cs apply).

If you’re already at uni, we strongly recommend you book your room as soon as possible so you don't miss out.

Booking a room at Scape Bloomsbury is quick and easy. Just click the 'Book this room' button online and choose your location, room and floor. You’ll be asked to sign a tenancy contract and make a 2-week upfront payment, which will be deducted from your rent. Once that’s done, your booking is confirmed. 

Our rooms fill up quickly. If you’re worried you’ll miss out but still need a few days to decide, we recommend putting a room on hold. Just select your room, create a Scape account and submit your contact details. We’ll take the room off the market and give you up to 72 hours to complete the final steps of your booking.
