When choosing your University College London student accommodation for the Gower Street main campus or the school of Management, you have a few different accommodation options, depending on what year you are in. If you are going into your first year of university, typically your choice is between university halls and a purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA), such as Scape. University halls are a great option for many for students housing, but they tend to be quite basic in terms of facilities and it can be very difficult to get an en-suite room, which could mean sharing a bathroom with up to six people. At Scape, on the other hand, all our rooms are en-suite as standard, our shared spaces are premium and newly refurbished, and you have access to excellent facilities such as an on-site gym and cinema room. When compared to other PBSAs, we have the most central and convenient locations, our shared spaces and facilities are of a higher spec, and we have fully trained Scape staff on-site 24/7.
In your second or third year, you’ll most likely no longer have the option of living in UCL halls. At that point, many students consider moving into private residences such as a flat or house share with friends. While this can be a social option, it often comes without the comfort of an en-suite room, and the quality of accommodation can vary. Bills and utilities usually aren’t included, and you won’t have access to on-site staff support.
Alternatively, you can apply to live with Scape and continue to enjoy all the benefits of our fully furnished residences, with all utilities included and regular staff support. Our application process is simple, and we’re here to guide you every step of the way.
At Scape, you can continue living with friends in one of our spacious shared apartments – but with all the perks: your rent covers all utilities, you’ll enjoy regular cleaning of communal spaces, and our friendly team is always on hand to help.
