Top 5 London day festivals

Words

The sun’s out, lectures are winding down, and there’s something fun happening almost every weekend. Here are the top 5 London day festivals you can look forward to.

There’s no denying summer in London is elite, but it’s even better when festival season kicks off. Whatever you’re into – DJs, rap, pop, or anything in between— there’s a day festival in London to let your hair down. Here are our top 5 picks to forward to the group chat.

Music festival

1. All Points East

📍 Venue: Victoria Park, East London
🗓️ Dates: 15th – 25th August 2025

Line-up? Stacked. Vibes? Immaculate. Outfits? Already planned.

All Points East is bringing you two weekends straight of sunshine, music, and sippin' your favourite drinks. Channel that main character energy and dance along like you’re in your own personal music video. When Chase & Status hit the stage, you know it’s going to be madness. Cue No More Idols energy – just pure bangers, heavy bass lines, and crowd surf moments.

Don't even get us started on Barry Can’t Swim, bringing vibes that'll make you forget your phones at 3% and just feel the moment. Think sunset, synths riffs, and that one track that makes you go OMG this is my song” (even though you just Shazamed it). This is a London day festival you definitely don't want to miss.

Outdoor concert

2. BST Hyde Park

📍 Venue: Hyde Park, Central London
🗓️ Dates: Select dates from 27th June – 13th July 2025

The American queens of pop are taking over Hyde Park this summer, and we’re so here for it. It’s giving heartbreak anthems, glitter tears, and dance moves you swear you didn’t rehearse in your room (except, you totally did).

From Olivia Rodrigo and Sabrina Carpenter (please, please, please) to Gracie Abrams, the lineup is basically a dream playlist come to life. Like someone snooped your “Sad Girl Pop Bangers” Spotify and made it a festival.

Get ready to shout every word to good 4 u, sway with your bestie during I miss you, I’m Sorry, and lose it completely when Espresso drops.

The energy’s going to be unmatched. It’s the kind of London day festival you can expect to lose your voice, run out of phone storage and leave with an emotional hangover...in the absolute best way possible.

Live concert

3. Wireless Festival

📍 Venue: Finsbury Park, North London
🗓️ Dates: 4th – 6th July 2025

Wireless Festival is back, and so is Drake (again, and again, and... yep, again).  That’s right, Champagne Papi is headlining every single night this year with three different set lists, and it's going to be massive.

As if that’s not exciting enough, Summer Walker is bringing the killer vocals, Burna Boy’s ready to turn the park into a full-blown rave, and PartyNextDoor will have us remembering why we cried over someone we only dated for 3 weeks. It’s giving iconic.

Don’t miss out – tell your mates, send that “where the pre’s at?” text, and start planning your festival fit!

Festival dj

4. Junction 2 Festival

📍 Venue: Boston Manor Park, West London
🗓️ Dates: 25th – 27th July 2025

Deep in the industrial wilds of London, Junction 2 is where underground beats meet forest rave dreams. Expect sets from the likes of Charlotte de Witte and Dixon that’ll have you dancing the day away. It’s moody, it’s magnetic, a proper vibe for the techno fans and Boiler Room regulars.

But it’s not just about the music, it’s the atmosphere. Think woodland stages, smoke machines, and lasers slicing through the trees. Every corner of this London day festival is curated for fans: from hypnotic stage productions to world-class sound systems that make your bones shake.

Pro tip: Bring comfy shoes and your best bass face. Also, maybe a portable fan, because it gets hot when the BPM hits just right. Whether you're there for the sunrise set or just chasing that 4/4 high, Junction 2 delivers. Every. Single. Time.

Concert goers

5. Somerset House Summer Series

📍 Venue: Somerset House, Strand, Central London
🗓️ Dates: 10th – 20th July 2025

Somerset House Summer Series is back, with 11 nights of unforgettable gigs in a seriously iconic open-air courtyard.

Picture FLO slaying R&B girl-group realness, Joy Oladokun delivering soulful sad bops, and The Snuts bringing full-blown mosh-pit chaos, while St. Vincent has you redefining your entire aesthetic.

Also on the bill: Rizzle Kicks, Freya Ridings, Jacob Banks, Parov Stelar, The Paper Kites, and a UK rap blowout with Giggs + fam (think surprise guests!)

Whether you’re after emotional depth, indie anthems or R&B swagger, this London day festival ticks every box. Get your squad and get ready to make golden hour your stage.
